The Maiko is made from a Scottish cashmere (45%) and lambswool (55%) blend yarn that gives a lovely mélange visual and interesting chunky, slub texture. The shape is a slender version of a Kimono, giving volume in its gathered creases without overwhelming the body. Perfect over a long sleeve tee for in-between seasons, as it starts to get cold, yet large enough to fit over a sweater for colder days. It works with anything from your favorite skinnies to a voluminous skirt. Tie the belt high at empire line and to the back for a refined kimono look or leave the cardigan loose and tie the belt around your neck or hair! The possibilities are endless with the sumptuous piece. This beautiful heathering is created by the weaving of two different color yarns. The colors are bespoke dyed for Sphere One by a top Italian mill using only the pure white fibers for clarity, vibrancy and purity of hue.
